A vibrant oval amethyst is displayed in a 14k yellow-gold pendant. The faceted amethyst is set horizontally in an open-backed bezel with an engraved edge. Two engraved bales allow the pendant to move freely on a modern 14k gold rope chain. Simple, elegant, and a wonderful way to wear this gorgeous gemstone. Circa 1920.
